About The Role
The Opportunity:
Mantis Space is seeking a Training & Compliance Administrator to oversee workforce training, compliance documentation, and regulatory readiness in a government contracting and advanced manufacturing environment. This role ensures that engineers and staff remain fully trained, compliant, and audit-ready across all applicable federal, contractual, and security-related requirements.
This is not a traditional HR role, but rather an operational compliance position that partners closely with leadership, contracts, and technical teams to maintain organizational readiness while minimizing disruption to technical work.
What You’ll Do:
Training and Workforce Compliance
- Develop, maintain, and manage training matrices aligned with government contracts, security requirements, and internal policies
- Track and coordinate required onboarding, annual, and contract-specific training
- Ensure timely completion and documentation of mandatory training (safety, security, export control, ethics, etc.)
Government Contracting & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain compliance documentation related to federal contracts, audits, and reviews
- Track contract-driven compliance requirements and ensure proper recordkeeping
- Support preparation for government audits, site visits, and compliance reviews
- Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation systems
Security, Clearance & Controlled Work Support
- Track clearance-related documentation and training requirements (without adjudication authority)
- Support compliance related to cleared environments and controlled manufacturing
- Coordinate with leadership on compliance needs tied to sensitive or regulated work
Operational & HR-Adjacent Support
- Support compliant onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain personnel records required for government contracting
- Serve as a compliance resource for engineers and staff
What you Bring:
- 3–6+ years in compliance, training coordination, operations, contracts support, or regulated environments
- Experience working in government contracting, defense, aerospace, national labs, or cleared manufacturing
- Familiarity with ITAR, DFARS, NISP, or CMMC frameworks is preferred
- Familiarity with ITAR, DFARS, NISP, or CMMC frameworks is preferred
- Strong documentation, tracking, and organizational skills, including preparing for audits and government reviews
- Ability to manage compliance requirements across multiple teams, including engineers and technical staff
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and process ownership
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
